梁冠翔博士于2011年毕业于西北农林科技大学获得学士学位,2015年毕业于加拿大阿尔伯塔大学获得博士学位,于2016年加入宾夕法尼亚大学kaiyun体育官方网站进行博士后研究。梁冠翔博士长期从事人类病毒组,微生物组,以及生物信息学等研究。近年来在Nature, Cell Host & Microbe, Genome Biology, mBio, Nature Reviews Microbiology等发表论文30多篇。梁冠翔博士于2021年加入kaiyun体育官方网站任助理教授,博士生导师。

病毒在全球环境中拥有最多的,大约10^ 31的个体数。病毒组一般指某种特定环境下所有病毒的集合,是微生物组的重要组成部分。病毒组主要包括能够感染真核细胞的病毒和感染细菌的噬菌体。人类对于能够引起人类或动物疾病的病毒已经进行了数十年的研究,而对于病毒群体整体研究一直不够深入。近年来随着相关技术的发展,越来越多的证据显示人类病毒组拥有巨大的多样性和异质性,并且与人类健康息息相关,成为了潜在的致病原因或治疗靶标。

课题组将利用各种生物医学技术,尤其是多组学和生物信息学技术,通过对人类生物样品,模式动物和各种体外实验的分析,深入研究人类病毒组与宿主的关系,并探索其对人类健康的影响。

我们关注病毒组在健康人体的建立与发展过程。我们前期的研究发现了病毒组在人体内的分段定植模式。健康的人类新生儿通常在出生时没有病毒,但出生后很快就被细菌寄生。最初阶段定植的病毒主要由最初寄生在肠道的细菌基因组内的原噬菌体诱导释放而产生。下一阶段的定植涉及到动物病毒在肠道的寄生,而这一过程中对于噬菌体和动物病毒的定植影响最大的因素是母乳喂养。

我们同样重视病毒组在相关疾病中的作用机制。例如,我们发现炎症性肠病病人肠道内含量最为丰富的两种噬菌体,CaudoviralesMicroviridae之间比例与疾病严重程度密切相关,相关的噬菌体可能通过与细菌和宿主三方相互作用促进疾病病症。另外一项研究中,通过对新冠病人呼吸道病毒组的分析,发现了可预测疾病严重程度的共生病毒。
